Filmco Recycling operates to the highest environmental and legislative standards. All our activities are carried out in compliance with the requirements of the Waste Management Acts 1996 to date and all the Health and Safety legislation. The company has both a policy of providing resources that all our activities are conducted to both highest legal and safety standards.

Water Management Legislation
Filmco Ballylynch facility operates under Waste Permit no. WM/WP064-01 and a copy of our permit, is available for inspection by appointment. Our environmental team play an important part in the management of our business and are available to answer questions regarding our recycling activities and the ultimate destination of washed materials.

Health and Safety
As required by Health and Safety and Welfare Acts, Filmco provides resources and training to ensure, all our operations are compliant and carried out safely. The company employs a full time Heath and Safety professional who ensures the objectives of our Health and Safety policy are met.

Environmental Policy
Filmco recognizes the environmental responsibilities with all aspects of its operation and as a matter of policy conducts all activities in compliance with the requirements of the current legislation. The company provides the resources and training to ensure the objectives of this policy are achieved at all levels of the organization.

All facilities operated by Filmco are permitted by local authorities. The vehicles carrying materials to and from the company’s facilities are regulated by the local authorities under the waste collection permit system as required under the Water Management (Collection Permit) Regulations 2005. The company’s performance is documented in the environmental reports submitted annually to the local authority.
